Well I can tell you with 100% certainty that Phicens are infact made of ......... TPE.
I know this for sure because mine recently suffered a foot tear (foot plate poked through the side of the foot)
In the hopes that they are made of silicone, (an easier repair) I tried several different kinds of silicone adhesive
including Silpoxy. None of these worked.
So after a discussion with my good buddy Doll_Master on TPE repair, I got out my soldering iron and a little
spare TPE to use as a filler, and it melted just as one would expect TPE to.
And her foot is repaired with this method. So this does verify 100% that Picens are indeed made of TPE!
Cheers!!

Must be a high quality type, they don't smell bad.

They don't leach oil either. I can't say if they're heavier than a same-size silicone doll ;) And they don't have foam cores.

I agree Phil, I think your right. Though Phicen tpe is firmer than that used in full size dolls, it's very resilliant and durable.
Scrappy, that got me curious so I just had to do the math.
So, my phicen weighs 0.7 lbs. and is 11.5" tall. with a scale factor of 1:6 she would stand 5'-9" tall, and she'd weigh just over 151 lbs.
That's a pretty heavy doll, and taller than most, with most dolls being closer to 5 feet 2, or so.
So, if she was scaled up to a doll height of 5'-2" tall, the scale factor would then be 1:5.39 and she'd weigh just under 110 lbs.
Some popular TPE dolls are in the 140 cm height range, which translates to 4'-7" tall.
So scaling my phicen to that size doll, the scale factor would then be 1:4.22 and she'd weigh just under 53 lbs.
And I believe that the WM 140 wights about 60 lbs...so I'd say that's pretty close!!

Yep, durable TPE.
I got three 5'1" TPE dolls, all weighing roughly 75 pounds. My 140 weighs around 60. However, 5'1" silicone Kwench only weighs 68.
