For all my Realdoll lover friends: look what I found! It appears to be a copy of the RD insert WITH internal texture. Silicone. We should keep this here for now just to avoid trouble. I ordered the #1 and #2. I will review

Contrary to the video in this link, don't use lube on the outside of the insert when installing into a Realdoll. . In my experience the insert will not stay in place properly and the residue generally makes a mess. Hand sanitizer gel works way better for this as the gel then evaporates and the insert will stay in place much better.

Sorry for the delay, some of us discussed the inserts in chat. The silicone quality seems excellent. Not super soft or squishy as much of the Chinese silicone seems to be. Very similar to realdoll.
The internal texturing is very yummy, the labia is too! Coloring is good.
When I ordered them, I noted the measurement looked a bit larger than a stock RD insert. You can get the insert in, however it makes the vagina VERY tight. The plan is to trim 1cm from the length. Add the flat to the bottom and trim away the "ribs". I will do the required trimming with surgical scalpels. I got two of the inserts from Silicone Lovers for 100.00 shipped, cheaper than wunderpuppen in my original post.
I will document the trimming process for those that wish to see if this is something other want to play with.
The interior is what I always wanted Abyss to produce, alas.
So stick around and I will guide you through my experiment. I am a bit slow sometimes. :whistle:

I forgot you pervs want to know about the sex. Honestly, I had been playing with inserts and dolls for several hours and I wasn't prepared for what I was about to experience. The texturing is very nice and insanely noticeable. Unlike TPE, you can feel the texturing of this sweet pussy, REALLY well. I lasted maybe 2 minutes tops. I was highly over stimulated. So being the true sport I am, I attempted another go this morning to start the day! This time was much more of a normal session. The sex was terrific, I could feel that bumpy ribbing the entire time. Great sex, time will tell durability and continued enjoyment.
For my it was well worth the 50.00 (100.00 in my case insert X 2) from silicone lover.com. Abyss price is now 350.00 and who knows how long to deliver.

This is way worth the extra work just because of the stupid price of one from Abyss. The texturing is also great news because none of us are getting any younger. :oldman:
It is also pleasant to the eye. :hump:
So the fact that it resembles a Realdoll insert but is notably larger begs a few questions.
What were they doing here?
Was the insert designed to fit one or more of their dolls and they were using a Realdoll insert as a guide? I'm assuming this is a Zelex insert.
Were they reverse engineering a Realdoll insert aimed at Realdoll customers and got the measurements wrong?
Just my incoherent pondering. ???
JB I have a question for you. Is the insert Too large in all of your dolls? I know with my girls, some of the Abyss inserts can be a bit large for a petite but fit a full size Realdoll better.

The testing continues, I really like the texture and can feel it the whole time. I have been asked to clarify something that is important but somewhat embarrassing. The inside if the stock insert seems rather small, it is very stretchy. So went I got the inserts I tested one outside of a doll. Like a fleshlight. With me in there the thing was huge. My girth is a bit above what is considered "average", let's leave it at that. The point is each individual will have to consider how much and where to trim.
At this price it is a very nice textured insert. I would do it all over again. It has added a new level of fun to doll sex.
To answer brother Smokes questions, I think Xelex was looking for a way to "lock" in the insert inside the doll during playtime. Perhaps the saw what Realdoll had done from the beginning and copied it. I try not to ponder the depths of the oriental mind.

That is the point here. This is an ideal situation to make a custom fit insert. I will highly recommend the flesh light approach. When I did I thought to myself, there is no way this will ever work. The trimming worked wonderfully.

Lana seems to take the girth like a champ. The insert can be compressed enough into her cavity for it to go all the way in, and not look half bad. ::)

But left to it's own devices, the insert wants to push it's way back out.
JB mentioned that his personal "girth" is above average. I have no such issue as I was gifted the "White Man Curse" . ::)
So, at this point, I may be able to just trim the insert to length and see how that goes. This will be evaluated after further testing is completed. :whistle:

At this point I pulled the wand out of the insert.The wand was used merely to provide some rigidity to ease the cutting process.
Blob of sil-poxy on the end cap. Line up the mold seams on the cap and the stock and squish it together.

Its not going to be perfect. It doesn't need to be. No one is going to see it.

What you are left with is an uneven seam with little perforations around it. Run a bead of sil-poxy around it to seal it up. . Smooth out the bead and let it cure. Done.!

The end result. The insert is no longer trying to push it's way out. Further testing is going to dictate as to whether the insert needs to be shaved down or not. :whistle:
And here now I feel it's important to make some points.
1) Results are going to vary based on the individual and the doll. It's important to do the ground work yourself and determine what sort of modification is best for you and your doll.
2) These are aftermarket silicone inserts aimed at, I'm not exactly sure. ??? But Since they are the approximate size of a Realdoll insert
one can only assume that they are aimed at the real doll crowd. ::)
3) Bang for the buck! Pun definitely intended. :D I paid $89 US for two of these inserts. Currently for a , as in single, ( 1 ) OEM Abyss insert they are asking $350 US. No Brainer. ::)
I want to thank JB for graciously allowing me to post my review in his thread and for first introducing us to the existence of these inserts. . . (())
I am going to call this (My) review complete. If in fact further modification is necessary ,for which at this point I feel is highly unlikely, I will update.

Yea, abyss is just crazy to not make more variations of the inserts, especially when it comes to softness and internal textures.
You have a company called Fleshlight that makes a lot of money just selling what are essentially just inserts in a can.
Imagine how much money abyss could make selling extra inserts. It should be one of their best selling products, very simple to make.
One question to Smoke: how does the softness compare to abyss's inserts?
I received a 4woods doll earlier this year with inserts, and those inserts are MUCH softer, smoother, jigglier, strethcier, than the realdoll inserts, which in comparison are very firm and featureless.

I would say that the Abyss silicone is slightly softer then the aftermarket silicone but not by much. Some opinions on that may differ. The texturing inside the aftermarket insert however is light years ahead of Abyss, since theirs is virtually none. :whistle:
