UK is back. Posted there March 11
For anyone who does not know, Everhard passed away June last year of Cancer.
Samurai..
To my mind, one of 'the great ones'. I guess I should post this over at ODC, too.

Well crap :(
I was afraid of that. We haven't seen him active in a while.
He was definitely one of the originals, very cool, and he took amazing photos.
Through his photos, he portrayed his dolls as very beautiful yet real women going about real lives. He gave them a real sense of class, weather in sexy lingerie or every day clothes in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Thanks for posting this for us to know.

Sad to hear that :-[ I had a few emails with him and he seemed to be fine gent . Thanks for letting us know and he will be missed

Truly a legend in the Doll community.
A gentleman and a skilled photographer.
Rest in peace.

IIRC Ev's now gone personal website was called either the Doll Coffee House or the Doll Coffee Shop. It was a great collection of doll photography annotated with Ev's topical storytelling.
I haven't done my homework yet, but I assume that Ev's work can still be (mostly) recovered 'for research purposes' from UK, ODC, The Dark Forest, and the Wayback Machine. But that's pretty 'spread out'. 'It might be nice' if some kind of 'shrine' of his collected work were set up 'somewhere'. (Of course the same shrine idea might apply to several 'still alive and kicking' folks including several members here.)
I just can't decide 'where' would be 'the right place'. Personally, I have access HERE. But 'we' are a somewhat isolated oasis and I can make an argument to keep it that way.
The other candidate web sites each have their own dolitical problems. What do you guys think?

I think its a nice way to pay tribute to him and others who have passed.

Sad news.
Everhard was one of the old guard. I think he was a member of Real Doll Owners and Lovers (RDOL).
A pioneer of the hobby who will truly be missed.

Met Ev a few times over the years, knew he had prostate cancer sadly and learnt of his death from it.
Quite a character and along with several old timers of the doll world he forwarded grudging acceptance for us all out there

OH I didn't know that, really liked his posts and photos he will be sadly missed!! :(

Everard's long absence from the forums had me wondering. He was an inspiration to me as I was lurking around 15 years ago.
R.I.P
