Title: Rules for makers and vendors of TPE dolls and their silicone versions.

These guidelines will be set up in the TPE market place and should be included where ever we decide that the Asian silicone doll market will be. There's a flood of new Asian vendors coming into ODC these days, who market Silicone versions of TPE Dolls.

I recommend that we put a link from this set of guidelines, (where ever we post the guidelines) should be posted in the general forum rules, to avoid any problems of new vendors missing them.



This is a forum for doll owners to post about, share photos, and their experience with their dolls.
Doll Manufacturers and vendors are welcome to post marketing threads on this forum free of charge, but we require that you follow these rules for posting.

1 ) Manufacturers / Vendors / Representatives who have a current sub forum such as Realdoll, 4Woods, Mechadoll, etc. Please continue to post there as you already have.

2 ) Manufacturers and Vendors of Silicone dolls who do not have their own sub forum ( IE. Realdoll, 4Woods, Mechadoll, etc.) are kindly asked to post marketing threads either in the "Asian Dolls" sub-forum: (link here)  or the "Other Dolls" sub-forum (link here)
 
3 ) Each Manufacturer/Vendor, who does not have their own sub forum ( IE. Realdoll, 4Woods, Mechadoll, etc.) can make and maintain one continuous thread for news and items for sale, either in "Asian dolls" or "Other Dolls". Add any new posts you may have to that one thread only, and please refrain from creating additional new marketing threads, as those will be deleted.

4 ) Manufacturers and Vendors of TPE dolls are kindly asked to post marketing threads in the "TPE Marketplace" sub-forum only. (link here)
5 ) Each Manufacturer/Vendor can make and maintain one continuous thread in the "TPE Marketplace" for news and items for sale. Add any new posts you may have to that one thread only, and please refrain from creating additional new marketing threads, as those will be deleted.

6 ) The Management of DB&G will not tolerate the deceptive practice of advertising TPE Dolls as Silicone. Either here or on your websites.

7) Vendors who sell both Silicone and TPE dolls, are welcome to post a marketing thread for each doll type (Silicone and TPE) in the respective sub forums mentioned above.

8 ) Manufacturers and Vendors are asked to only have one account.

9) Members that may have questions or reviews or inquiries, about different manufacturers, vendors and their dolls etc. They may post them in the respective forums mentioned above for Vendors and members to answer.

10) Vendors may not post sales / marketing posts, etc. in other sub forums or other manufacturer's threads  or risk losing their account.


By posting on this forum as a manufacturer and/or vendor means that you have accepted these terms.

I see a neat and tidy all encompassing Market Square has been created.   :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

So I'd like to re write the guidelines I posted above to reflect this new Market Square. Please review this proposal and see what you all think.  Here goes.






Re: Guidelines for all Manufacturers, Representatives, Vendors and Doll owner sales.

By posting on this forum as a manufacturer, representative, vendor or doll owner making a personal sale, means that you have accepted the following terms.

All personal sales by doll owners may post in the "Swap Meet" sub-forum. All sales must include recent photos, showing features and current condition including possible damage.

Manufacturers and Vendors are asked to only have one account.

Each manufacturer, representative or vendor can make and maintain one continuous thread in the appropriate sub-forum for news and items for sale. Add any new posts you may have to that one thread only, and please refrain from creating additional new marketing threads, as those will be deleted. This includes posting pics in (what will eventually be the art gallery). Please review the descriptions of each sub-forum in the Market Square to find the appropriate sub-forum.

Manufacturers, representatives or vendors who sell more than one kind of doll (Silicone, TPE dolls or other), are welcome to post a marketing thread for each doll type (Silicone, TPE, cloth) in the respective sub forums in the Market Square.

Manufacturers, representatives and vendors may not post sales / marketing posts, etc. in other sub forums or other manufacturer's threads  or risk losing their account.

Members that may have questions or reviews or inquiries, about different manufacturers, vendors and their dolls etc. They may post them in the respective forums mentioned above for Vendors and members to answer.

However if a member posts questions for a Manufacturer, representative, or vendor outside of their marketing threads, they may be answered there, but the answers must be brief and relevant to the question, with no sales pitches.

The Management of DB&G will not tolerate the deceptive practice of false or misleading advertising.

     Including every sales possibility in one document is a great idea. No one will complain that 'someone else' got a better deal. It will also make it easier to edit, than if there were separate documents for each doll type or sales situation.

     I would like to point out that the Simple Machines Forum software hierarchy (layout) is:

-----Post ("OP"= Original Post)

     Try to refrain from referring to a Board as a "forum" or a "sub-forum", as the whole installation is a forum. The "forum" terminology for a Board is popular, but incorrect. I do realize that, other than the User Agreement (Terms of Use, Terms of Service), legalese does not need to be that specific.

I see a possible source of confusion or redundancy in the Market Square.

There is a Chinese doll market place for Chinese vendors, makers to post their threads TPE and or Silicone.
And there is also a TPE market place just above that......Which of the two areas do TPE Vendors/makers post?  I mean are there really any TPE makers outside of China? And if so, are there really enough to necessitate a separate TPE marketplace board?

     I have to admit my ignorance of the TPE and Asian doll markets. "TPE Marketplace" was originally conceived for all of the TPE market. "Chinese Doll Marketplace" can most likely be deleted.

Okay ..... I was doing my daily read 'over there' and I've 'had enough'.

Proposed rule: Vendors are prohibited from posting images and are limited to one post per week. They are encouraged to provide links in their posts to information and images they want potential buyers to see.

Given the 'sophisticated' crowd expected to frequent this site, how likely is it that a vendor will overstep its bounds, especially after a first scolding?
