Title: Winter 2025
Post by: Smoke on February 09, 2025, 03:43:35 PM: Well, I gotta say that this has been an old fashioned winter around here. This would have been considered a mild Winter back 550 years ago or so when I was a kid. :oldman:

Climate change? my wrinkled old ass. :P I seems to be changing back to way it used to be. Less fossil fuels? I say more, !! :thumb:

We got it pretty solid here too. Though maybe not quite as much.

Normally we have a thaw or two by now, where the snow completely vanishes.

This is the first winter in a long time that I can remember where the snow hasn't disappeared since Christmas .

For those of you still measuring according to the size of the kings foot. There are 2.54 cm in an inch and 30.48 CM in the kings foot. And for those of you who don't give a fuck, I don't blame you. :egyptian:

If this goes the way it is predicted and the chances are 50/50, It should be at it's worst for my drive home from work at 1:00 AM Thursday morning. Also take into account that the majority of times a storm is hyped up like this ,it's never as bad as predicted.

Here is hoping that was the last big blast of the Winter. Though I think I would be a bit naive to think that as it is still a bit early and anything can happen.
