wtf just went on at the uk forum

If you guys have been 'listening' to me, you know that I'm unhappy that odc went away. As 'spotty' as 'helpful' information has become and as unlikely as I am to buy another doll, I still like having several sites where I can learn something or ask a question.

So .... the UK forum just went through what I can only describe as a total body morph. Not that I will assume that anyone HERE is dialed in to what has been going on there. But if any of the rest of you know, WTF happened over there?

Well, if anyone cares (apparently not ) Over at the 'new' uk forum, the categories for manufacturers, and a lot of other 'stuff', are now only visible if the user logs in. As the Luddite I am, I only log in to web sites if I REALLY need to. So the uk forum has now become almost useless to me as simply a source of doll 'news' and information. Sic transit gloria mundi. (Maybe I should name one of my 1/6 dolls Gloria Mundi. Olivia Munn's cousin from 'the old country'?)

The owner of the UK site decided to go commercial just like TDF this pissed off half the forum and when someone spoke out about it he got banned. This caused a civil war in which half the forum left and created their own forum.
Now after the UK forum came back up commercial almost everything requires membership to see.

Interesting ..... So, Slayers, where is this new forum that came out of the civil war?

Scrappy remembers the TDF civil war. Unless Perry was ahead of me, I want to claim the 'honor' of being the first dollfucker banned.
