"
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene ..."
Not many of us can get to Verona, but there are ways to simulate being there. See
Rotoscope,
Matte, and
Digital_compositing. You don't need to use any software to lay a scene for your photographic inspiration. You could literally 'cut & paste' printed images of your dolls onto a paper image from a mail flyer or a catalog page. This may give you the inspiration to 'set the stage' for your net photo shoot.
For my
Photoshop Creations, I used a few images that I grabbed online. Do be careful with this, as some images are copyright of the owner. If you do go out and about, take photos of the places that you visit. Take a headshot of your doll with you, and imagine her or him actually being there.
KarmaMusic and I (and a few others) use
Computer-generated imagery (CGI) for background images. I use
DAZ Studio (Digital Art Zone) and some
Poser models for the backgrounds for my
Adventures on The Holodeck series. The software is free, but there is a steep learning curve. I also spent a ton of money on models that I purchased over the years. KarmaMusic likes the
Unreal engine. See also
