Hey guys.
As most of you may know already, I'm trying to fix a delamination issue with Nicole, with no real luck so far. I apologize for the rough structure of this post but I'm a little stressed and frustrated with my situation to say the least.
I'm used to fixing a delam by injecting silicone between the outer silicone skin and the hard foam core under. It's very easy to feel when the needle meets the hard foam, pull out just a little and inject some flowable silicone, and kneed it in, let cure, done.
What I think I'm dealing with is a delam between layers of a silicone core or cores and the outer skin, making it impossible to accurately tell if the needle is deep enough or not, to get it between the two layers that separated.
I made several attempts at this now by guestimation, with very limited success. In fact I think this made things worse.
I'd say there's a fair length of separation now between the outside of Nicole's hip, across the front, where her leg meets her pelvis, down to her groin.
When I bring Nicole's leg up to her chest, I can hear some air leakage from her vag, between the inner core and the outer pour. Nicole is an insert doll, but apparently there appears to be a separate silicone core that holds the insert that is reinforced on the outside with some sort of fabric.(I can see this fabric in her vag) I believe the delam is between this fabric covered core and the silicone of the outer pour, and I believe that separation here is where it all started.
So what I plan to do next is to bring her leg up to her chest which causes the silicone at the side of her hip to bubble out, inject some flowable silicone in there while its bubbled out. then bring her leg down pulling the bubble down, and try to kneed the flowable silicone along her pelvis to her groin till I see it come out her inner vag core.
What I've worked with in the past is mixing silpoxy with a silicone thinner and I've found that this works very well for delaminations. The only drawback is there is a very limited amount of time to mix it up, get it in the syringe, inject it in and spread it though out, before it starts to set.
What I want to ask is, if anyone knows if either two part smoothon ecoflex silicone, or Permatex flowable windshield sealant will hold as well as thinned silpoxy will?
Both the smoothon silicone and Permatex seem to have a longer working time.
Sorry to be a downer, but this one's got me stumped. This is going to be my last attempt before I throw in the towel, as I don't know what else I can do.
I want to give one piece of advise to all Realdoll owners. I urge you to remove the vag insert, take some slipoxy or equivalent and smear some all the way around the ledge of the step inside the vag, where the front part of the insert rests against, (this is what I belive to be the boundary between the reinforced core and the outer pour) and let that set up before putting the insert back in for use. Had I known and done this, I don't think I would have the problem I have now.
