Consider making a standing option. It appeals to the masses. Like many manufactures, making an affordable product along side a luxury item will drive sales.

Not saying quality should ever be compromised. Just saying that if sales is the goal, an affordable product should be considered.

Thanks for the perspective on this DM. 

 I 100% agree. You can't sell a high end doll second hand and expect to get even get half of what you paid for, even if it's in just left the factory condition. Resale value worse then a used car. That's just the way it is. 

It's also worth noting that when dealing with Chinese companies in particular , they lead the way in communication with customers. In my experience questions and concerns are usually addressed promptly and at the very least, next day after sending an e-mail.
