Sooo, in the previous story I agreed to make Julie a new racer that is "way beyond"
her current racer, and after about a month, I had something ready! Let's see if Julie
is as ready for it as she thinks.
(Ceej sings out to Julie) "Ohhhhh Juliiieee! Would you come here please!"
(Julie sings back) "Oohhh Yes Ceeeeeeej."
(Ceej) "Come, let's go to your shop? There's something there I want to show you."
(Ceej) "Well? What do you think Little Pinkie?"
(Julie) "Ummm, there isn't much to it Ceej, I mean its kinda puny. Just some wheels and a pink tub like thing."
(Ceej) "Looks are deceiving my dear. There's more to it than it appears. As you'll
soon see." ... "That pink tub like thing is a seat, custom fit to YOUR body."
(Ceej) "And you'll want to put this on, cause this machine is going to take you sooooo much faster than you can imagine!"
(Julie) "The rockets do look pretty sweet Ceej."
(Julie) "Ok, let me see if I can ......"
(Ceej cuts in) "Um, wait a second sweetie. You need to undress first to fit in that racer."
(Julie) "WHAT?! You silly perv! What is it with you having me go naked to fit in these
custom cars you make?!" ... "You insisted I had to go naked in the last one too."
(Ceej) "Heh heh, I know you better than that my little one, and you are NOT that coy.
This machine fits you so perfectly that any clothing will bunch up tight all
around you. Besides this is going to go so fast, the wind will rip your clothes right off you!"
(Julie) "Really? Wow! Ok."
(Julie) "Ooooh, Ceej! you are sooo right about the fit! Damn this is sooooo comfy!
But where's the steering wheel? and the seat belts?"
(Ceej) "Ahhhh right, so place your hands under the seat front. And you'll feel a button
for each finger, those are your controls. To activate your safety restraints, push your left pinky button."
(Julie) "Ummm, you mean like this?"
(Julie) "OOOHH! ... Wow! how cool! This hugs me so nicely!"
(Ceej) "Everything's molded to your body my little one. Ok, now push the right pinky button to deploy the wings."
(Julie) "Wings?"
(Julie) "Way kewl Ceej! ... This thing's really gonna FLY!!!!"
(Ceej) "You better believe it Little Pinkie! When I make something, I don't fool around."
(Ceej "Ok, for your first run I'm going to time you. I want you to pilot your
new machine perfectly straight, no turns. We're gonna see how long it takes you to return home."
(Julie) "Wait? What? return? without turning? .... KEWL!"
(Ceej) "Ok Julie, fire up the engines, brace yourself, and hit FULL THRUST! ..... "
(Ceej) " ... NOW!!"
Julie launches on the the mark, and as you'll see in the next few shots, she is
about to circle the earth in record time as she makes her way back home!
Clear from her shop, Julie takes flight into the sun set. "WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Soon after, she's high above the twilight forest as she gains speed.
8 minutes 12 seconds, she's 1/3 way around the earth, on the night side. "YYYEEEE HAAAAAAAAHHH!!"
And only moments later, Julie zooms into sunrise on her way back to her shop!
(Ceej) "Aaaaaand ... MARK!" ... "Twenty two minutes and 10 seconds later, and your home
again Julie!" ... "Well? What do you think? It didn't take you to the moon, THIS TIME, but is this what you wanted?"
(Julie) "Thank you Ceej! ... I LOVE IT!"
Well, I think she's pleased ...... for now.
