Smoke and I had a great visit the other day! we managed to get some doll maintenance in, and hopefully a pretty involved repair.
I also met Cindi. She's a spectacular doll, and I see why Smoke is so captivated by her. Lusandy, her maker, was not afraid to give her some amazing yet realistic curves including a bit of a belly. Her skin coloration includes subtle vein details as well as fine mottling and shading which really ads to her realism. The detail in her hands and feet, I'm sure those are life-casts. Her intimate detailing is also pretty sweet. She is soft, without feeling fragile.
Cindi is the first modern doll that I got to pose and photograph. Two features she has that are new to me are, articulating fingers and eyes that are very easy to pose. Her eyes are encapsulated in plastic sockets so there is much less friction when posing the eyes. She's also the first standing doll I worked with. A feature that does have benefits over hanging dolls, but there are also cons. Dolls that hang are easier to dress.
We took a handful of pictures and she was a breeze to work with, easily holding a "cigarette", a full wine glass, pointing and more!
Here she is trying on an exotic Dragon themed garment:

A few fun poses:

Looking across the room to Smoke. "Um, never mind the others, some attention needed here now."

"That's right....she's hungry mister."

Feeling rubbed raw, Cindi has a cigarette.

And now for some bed poses and some close ups.
