It was a cold but bright and sunny mid winter afternoon. The snow glistened like fine crystals in the sunlight.
seeing this, Julie wanted me to take her out into snow for what she thought might be a fun day.
I told her its very cold, but as usual, she insisted on not wearing a lot. I took her to a hill for her to try sliding down.
As you can see, she wasn't afraid to get right to it and climb to the top.

For her, it was quite the accomplishment when she made it to the top. So she had to have a drink,
before sliding down. I don't know how she did it without freezing her goodies off, but she slid all
the way down. She lost her hat but not her drink on the way.

Well, she felt that was ok, but she wanted more speed! So I got out her snow machine.
I set it up with her half way up the hill. I helped her fill it up with gas. She got on. Now let's see
what happened.

Well, as you can see in the next pics, after jumping off the top of the hill, she had a rough landing.

She had enough of that and asked me to take her to the other side of the yard where there's
a nice clearing of snow, so she could make me a couple of snow angels. She saw some girls
making snow angels the modern way, so she thought she'd try it herself, before making a
traditional one.

With all the disturbed snow around it, it didn't turn out as good as she hoped, but she was
proud anyway. (to see it properly, you need to look at it upside down, or envision it upside down)
"Look I even gave her a pink brooch." She said.

"Here they are!" she said proudly. "Now can we go in? it's FREEZING out here!"

Soon after we got in the house, I saw her warming up by the toaster.

And that was Julie's snow day.
