So I put up a doll for sale (SE 168) cm on TDF. I get this guy (private1) who emails me. I arrange the sale, send him photos, all goes off without a hitch.
So I thought!
The next thing is, I get texts from this guy (AKA Dumbfuck#1) saying the doll is ruined and he wants his money back
right now. He sends me a picture of a single finger poke and the box (which left without any tears) looking like someone deliberately punched holes in it. It was hard to see how UPS did this. He's ranting and railing at me and I tell him to send me more photos of the actual damage. I keep getting these texts telling me I deliberately did this, blah blah. I take about 10 minutes of this and tell him to fuck off unless I get some photos. I let the mods know there was an issue and leave it at that.
The next thing I know my PayPal account has the 825.00 clawed back. But here's where it gets weird. It's because the PayPal account owner alleged fraud. Not because of a defective item. Then I get this email from Dumbfuck #2, which spoiler alert, I think is Dumbfuck #1:
Let's just say a hacker going to the effort to create an identity on TDF, then break into someone's PayPal account to buy a used sex doll sounds a little fishy.
But I'm still out a doll and 825.00. Worse, I have a negative 825 balance to pay before my account is restored! I have to go through this PayPal resolution bullshit and ultimately I reported it to the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
While this is going on, I get emails from Dumbfuck#1 (which if there truly was two people ripped off Dumbfuck#2, right?) telling me I needed to make this right or they were going to tell everyone I was a thief on TDF.
I told him go right ahead
and fuck off again and asked who he is if the PayPal account owner has reported this as fraud? That's the last I heard from Dumbfuck#1.
Meanwhile I get an email from the mods at TDF asking me if I've been selling damaged dolls. Evidently Dumbfuck#1/2 has created Dumbfuck#3 to lead them to believe I sold
two dolls with damage.
They never did
any rudimentary checking on this clown's story before 'following up on the facts'. How do I know this? Well, because while I did have two sales, only of them ever had an issue on PayPal. I later reached out and confirmed it:
I didn't have that message at the time but I sent them everything else. They said they had to sort out the different 'facts'. We go back and forth and I asked them what about this hacking claim? I was told it was probably just a fake email and they've decided that person had nothing to do with this fiasco. What??
It was the PayPal account owner! At that time, the only one who was out any money was
me. Jesus Christ, they just blew it off because it didn't fit their narrative. So fucking dumb.
The mods never asked for receipts, even the models of these two supposed dolls, basic shit before coming to me asking if I'm selling damaged dolls that had a full set of undamaged photos per TDF rules? For kicks? WTF is my motivation for suddenly doing this?
I got so pissed off they even considered a 13 year member with probably 20 doll sales (and multiple give-aways!) was involved with this bullshit, I told them to permanently delete my account on TDF. I was the one out money. I was the victim of a scam not the other way around. I'd rather throw my used dolls in a dump than deal with this stupidity and drama for 800 bucks.
Ultimately, I prevailed and got my money restored. PayPal never gave out my email to Dumbfuck #2, he had it because he was also Dumbfuck #1 & Dumbfuck#3. That was his mistake. That and I found out was the address on the PayPal account was where the doll was sent. Hard to believe a hacker also had the sale sent to actual owner's address, right?
So there's still a scammer loose on TDF. They won't realize it until another person gets taken. Ridiculous!
