Julie and the Fireflies

Julie and the Fireflies.....Story idea by Mrs. Ceej. 

It's firefly season this month and they are just as active as ever!
Julie wanted to see them, so last night she went out into the garden to have a look.



Nearly right away, they took a liking to her and flew right up to her.
Julie was mesmerized by their light...and thought since she can fly, maybe she can light up too.



So Julie got off her stool and pointed her but right up in the air, in the hopes it would light up!
>Julie to the firefly< "Is my but lighting up?"   
>firefly< "Oh no...only the boys light up, to call the girls, then the girls flash back."



>Julie<  "Awww, only the boys first huh? .... Oh Ceej, will you bend over and light up your butt for me?
               Then maybe my butt will light up too!"

SO sweet! Lovely, I love Julie's reaction. Nice work and a sweet short story. She is lucky. I still need to see the firefly's
